what advice would you give to the young?
there are a lot of designers in the world and a lot of
producers of everything. so you've got to really analyze
what it is that you have to offer and then try and get as much
experience as you can as a student, like working in a shop
or assisting somebody... learn your trade!
you can't do things too quickly.
you have to really know what you're doing.

Hold Your Horses - 70 Million

when in college, i hated art history, it was difficult for me to cope with memorizing the years, the name, the identity of each movement. so i failed and had to repeat another whole semester of that same subject. that second time, i fell in love with art history. but of course i love history, i'm a very sentimental person. it's just that i'm bad in memorizing.

so i was browsing around and came across this Parisian band, Hold Your Horses. what an awesome art history tribute! they even acted out The Birth of Venus, a painting that i've always felt a certain connection with. haha!
